A Family Child Care Network is a community of home-based child care providers that come together each month to learn, grow and strengthen their programs through professional development and shared resources.
The MiSide Family Child Care Network (FCCN) provides members with quality programming, access to supportive services for children and families, and tools to promote financial sustainability. Our goal is to ensure that family child care continues to be a high-quality and trusted choice for families seeking care.
MiSide EarlyYears serves as a hub in the Metro Detroit area servicing Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
Who can be a network member?
Each network consists of up to 25 home based child care sites.
- Licensed Child Care Home Providers (Family or Group Homes)
- Licensed Exempt Providers
- Intended to become licensed or intend to stay Licensed Exempt Providers
- Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care Providers
- Who are working on completing the steps of the licensing process
- Other (approved by ECIC)
