Even through the rain we had so many families join us to celebrate back to school!
Back to School Bash 2024
On August 16, 2024, MiSide partnered with Assured Family Services, Family Alliance for Change, Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network, and Youth United to host the annual Back to School Bash.
Despite the rain, nearly 1,000 children and families joined us to enjoy the festivities and get ready for the start of school!
Because of your incredibly generous support, 850 students received backpacks full of school supplies. Because of you, 850 kids will walk into school on the first day prepared and ready to learn.
Everywhere you looked at the Back to School Bash you saw kids and their families bouncing on the bounce houses, dancing, sporting their new backpacks, enjoying lunch, getting their faces painted, or checking out the resource tables.
It was a full house rain or shine! Thank you to everyone who attended and made another year of the Back to School Bash a great success! We cannot wait to see you next year!
