Our pre-purchase education and counseling program enable aspiring homeowners to understand the process of buying a home.
Our HUD-approved agency employs professional, bilingual and MSHDA & HUD-certified counselors. We offer homebuyer education classes, pre-purchase counseling and financial coaching through one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and community events.
How do I get started?
Our Services
We are currently offering monthly Homebuyer Education Workshops, virtually on Zoom. These FREE courses take place on the second Friday of every month. Come learn about the home buying process and the steps to qualify for a mortgage from our lending, realtor, inspectors, and other partners. Completing a homebuyer education course or workshop is a required component by most lenders and ALL down payment assistance programs.
After successful completion of the class and receipt of the required intake packet, participants will receive a certificate of completion (Certificate is valid for 12 months).You can register for one of our FREE courses by creating an account with us here.
If you want to take a fast-track course, we also offer self-paced online pre-purchase program from ehome America (the equivalent to homebuyer education workshop). The cost of the course is $99.
We also offer one-on-one counseling to help homebuyers to qualify for loans. Our HUD-Certified counselors will discuss home affordability to prepare for homeownership. You will also discuss different options for down payment assistance from various sources. You can book an appointment with one of our counselors by creating an account with us here.
