YouthBuild Graduation July 2025

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the Youth Academy celebrated their students with a graduation ceremony!

The students gratuated with a range of certifications, like OSHA 30 and NCCER, and some finished with their GET too! They are prepared to enter the workforce and build a future for themselves, as we could not be more proud!

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib joined in on the celebration and shared some words of wisdom and encourancgement with our graduates!

The evening was full of students sharing stories of their time in the program and sharing their gratitude for the instructors and their peers.

Cohort President, Trevon Washington, shared "we were just students, but now we're becoming tradespeople."

Many of the students will go on to work in the trades, others will continue their education, and some will use the knowledge they gained to follow their dreams in another way.

No matter what path they choos, they have the knowledge, experience, and support they need to succeed.
