Improving Careers
The Detroit At Work Career Centers are a free resource for Detroit residents looking to start a new career or improve their career prospects. The Career Centers match workers with training programs and job opportunities. There are multiple Career Centers in the city. Ours is conveniently located in southwest Detroit. Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation (DESC) oversees the Career Centers.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. On Wednesday, we’re open until 7PM.
Services
At our Detroit At Work Career Center, you can:
- Create a career plan with a career coach
- Sign up for job training, including our Earn + Learn programs
- Meet employers looking to hire
- Search for jobs online and attend job fairs
- Attend a job skills workshop
- Financial coaching
- Find resources for transportation, child care, getting proper ID, and more
Our experienced and professional staff are ready to help you reach your career goals. We can connect you with training and employment opportunities in health care, information technology (IT), manufacturing and logistics, construction, retail, hospitality and entertainment, and more. Staff can help with any language barriers.
